Rev. Holt believes the creation of a grand marriage combines the wedding ceremony with marriage preparation. He offers a unique approach to weddings for the diverse population of the Bay Area. Every ceremony is crafted and customized to reflect the desires of the couple. The religious or non-religious interests and backgrounds are reflected in the ceremony. He works with inter-denominational and inter-cultural couples, including conducting ceremonies in Spanish.

Rev. Holt’s 30 years of doing pastoral work has included extensive couple counseling. The program of marriage prep consists of a series of four meetings. Each meeting offers a forum to develop communication and conflict resolution skills and to address areas such as sexual expectations, financial management, children and parenting, and spirituality.

Rev. Holt joins couples to create tasteful and joyous wedding ceremonies that celebrate their love and commitment. He offers unique, customized, traditional, and non-traditional services. He says, “Your wedding ceremony sets the tone for the entire day and it should be uplifting, exciting and serve as a springboard for a great reception.”

Rev. Ed Holt is a licensed, ordained, non-denominational minister. He has spent 20 years as a pastor to college students, teaching,
counseling and coaching. In 1990, he created a wedding ministry
providing marriage prep and wedding ceremonies for couples.

His education consists of:
B.A. from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA
M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA
M.B.A. from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA
