Stacey Lorinczi opened her San Francisco studio in 2002 and quickly caught the fancy of both discerning collectors and cosmopolitan trendsetters. Her collections have been showcased in the London book The Art of Jewellery Design, and featured in Bride’s, W, Us, Marie Claire, Elle, and San Francisco magazines. After years of producing breathtaking pieces for her global clientele, Stacey began to receive so many requests to design custom engagement rings that she recently launched her Custom Bridal Jewelry Service. Recognizing the dilemma of both the clueless-but-well-meaning groom and the exacting bride, she’s developed a system that allows her to work with bridal clients all over the world—without breaking the bank or disappointing expectations.

As she researches a bride’s personal style, Stacey becomes part designer and part detective. Through photos, phone calls, interviews and even a description of what’s in her client’s closet, Stacey tailors the jewelry gift to the individual’s lifestyle, activities, and aspirations. Throughout the process, the bride or groom’s feedback is an important factor. The result is a magnificent piece of art that captures the bride’s fantasy.

After reviewing the Lorinczi Jewelry gallery showcasing past creations, we began to develop our own jewelry fantasies. We were frankly blown away by the diversity and imagination of her collections, which display an astonishing range of influences and artistic expression, from vintage to avant-garde. Her textures are just as varied—filigree, matte, shiny, twisting, beveled…she seems equally confident in any medium. As a skilled and trained gold and metalsmith, Stacey offers a compelling landscape of settings for the chosen gems. The final product reflects her impressive ability to translate the personality of each of her clients into stunning novel designs.

Some of our favorites include her “Orchid” ring. Unusual yet feminine, the Orchid band and engagement ring are a matte platinum echo of nature, twisting like a leafy stem around the finger with the bud holding a diamond at its center! Equally striking is the “Bronwen,” an assortment of old family diamonds and multihued blue sapphires set in an abstract mosaic pattern. Lorinczi Jewelry has men’s wedding rings, too, including a style that can be personalized with an actual fingerprint of the spouse imprinted on a brushed satin palladium band!
