Beneath the bough of a carob tree, a brick building holds the smart and cozy showroom of specialty designer Janet Alix, whose custom jewelry has been delighting clients for over 20 years. Glass cases sparkle with a treasure-trove of fine jeweled masterpieces, which can serve as a starting point for your collaboration with Janet—she’s a genius at crafting unique pieces for each bride
Unlike many jewelers, Janet will work with stones a couple already has, or source top-of-the-line diamonds or precious gemstones appropriate to a couple’s budget. What’s more, she’s a skilled artisan who’ll re-design family heirlooms or dream up an entirely new creation.
Each customer is treated to Janet’s personal attention from start to finish, and all of her pieces are made by hand in her neighboring studio. To Janet, it’s important to educate her customers so they can make informed choices; she helps them consider both their personal signature and lifestyle in selecting rings. “I want to make sure their jewelry also lives happily ever after!”
