Why We Like This Place

First impressions mean a lot, and the lovely drive up to the Brentwood Golf Club along a wide concourse lined with stately royal palms really sets a grand tone. The clubhouse itself, with its sloping, shingle roof and mix of pale earth tones and natural stone, has the look of a relaxed, upscale country retreat surrounded by acres and acres of lushly landscaped grounds.

Private events have their own entrance via a shaded pathway that leads around the side of the building. Follow it and you come to the ceremony Pavilion Patio, overlooking the first tee of the golf course. Front and center is the pavilion itself, a classical Italian-style rotunda with six white columns topped with an ornate wrought-iron dome. It’s an elegant stage for exchanging vows, backed by a dense screen of graceful olive and Japanese maple trees mixed with vivid red and white oleanders.

Just around the corner, behind the clubhouse, is the trellised Terrace where guests can raise a congratulatory glass of bubbly and mingle during the cocktail reception. Dappled sunlight filters through the overhead beams, which create a natural awning above a row of stone pillars. This peaceful spot enjoys views of the fairway, a pond that overflows into a rushing waterfall, and a nearby bridge spanning a profusion of pastel flowers. Naturally all of these scenes make very picturesque backdrops for your wedding photos.

The Ballroom, decorated in soothing hues of sandstone and adobe, has tall windows along two walls that look out over the ceremony site and terrace to the verdant vistas beyond. As the sun sets and everyone is seated for dinner, create just the right mood by dimming the wrought-iron chandeliers and spotlights. Large enough to seat 200 with a permanent dance floor, this high-ceilinged space can accommodate an additional 150 by simply removing a dividing wall and expanding into the adjoining club restaurant. This also gives you access to the restaurant’s large bar and the four LCD flat screens behind it to display home movies, photos or even a real-time video of the wedding itself.

The Wedgewood Banquet Center chain, which oversees special events at numerous locations throughout California, prides itself on service. With their experienced staff you can count on guidance, flexibility and attention to your specific needs. Customization is welcome, so if there’s something special you’d like, just ask. You’ll have a dedicated wedding planner who will work with you throughout the entire process, from the first consultation until the last guest says goodbye. They’ve designed a whole array of packages, many of which are all-inclusive and cover not only the menu, linens and setup, but everything from invitations and flowers to photographer and band. This is a boon for all you busy brides who just want to relax and enjoy your own wedding.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the estimated event total is required to reserve your date. The next 25% is due 120 days prior to the event and the balance is due 10 days prior. All-inclusive wedding packages start at $40/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21–22% service charge are additional.
