Wedgewood Banquet Centers has built their stellar reputation by providing brides with exceptional value and service, but what they’ve done at their Kennedy Park Golf Course venue really goes beyond expectations. Not only will you enjoy the renovations completed in 2013 (including a lovely new ceremony site), but the park itself offers a diversity of picture-perfect locales for a “best of” Napa photo album.
It all starts with that verdant Ceremony Lawn. Scented by fragrant white and pink roses, it features a soothing water wall and low stone fence running along one side for privacy. An old-fashioned lamppost and a pair of oak barrels at the edge of the center aisle add a touch of Wine Country ambiance. You’ll exchange vows beneath a redwood arbor against a lush background of evergreens and feathery maples that rustle in the afternoon breeze. Nature adds even more color when you say “I do” at sunset as the sky turns pink beyond the trees.
Afterwards, invite everyone to toast the occasion with cocktails on the lawn or on the surrounding patio. While your guests continue to mingle over appetizers, you and your groom can hop into a golf cart with the photographer to commemorate your big day. Explore the emerald fairways, beautifully landscaped with bridges, ponds and even a romantic iron bench for two, shaded by a spreading Monterey Pine. But what would a Napa wedding be without that iconic shot of the two of you in a vineyard? Fortunately, the UC Davis viticulture campus is just down the road, where you can pose among the grapevines. Right across the street, there’s a formal garden complete with vintage sundial, and for an even more creative portrait go a tad further to an abandoned railroad track marked by an old-fashioned crossing signal.
Then it’s time to make your entrance into the spacious Event Pavilion. This 3,000-square-foot, climate controlled reception area has a high peaked ceiling and is completely draped in white and lit by chandeliers. There’s a corner bar with a base of wine casks and walls of windows overlooking the 9th fairway. All the modern AV equipment is built in and hidden, leaving lots of room for the large dance floor. And since you’re celebrating amidst 350 park acres, there are virtually no noise constraints because there are no neighbors.
As always with Wedgewood, you’ll have a wide range of menu options and can customize your meal to fit your taste and budget. Their all-inclusive packages cover everything from invitations and décor to flowers and cake. Plus, their trained staff will help you arrange for any additional options you might want, and they’ll oversee everything from start to finish so you can relax and enjoy your day.

25% of the estimated total event cost is required to reserve your date. An additional 25% is due 120 days prior to the event and the balance (based on your final guest count) is due 10 days prior. All payments are credited towards your final balance and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. All-inclusive, completely customizable wedding packages start at $48/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21–22% service charge are additional.
