Why We Like This Place

Waterfowl often swim with their offspring in the small lake between the wedding gazebo and the 9th-island golf green, and a 50-year-old weeping willow at the water’s edge frames the tranquil scene. At Wedgewood San Ramon, romantic settings like this are as much a part of the landscape as the surrounding foothills and the pristine fairways of the adjacent golf course. It’s no wonder Wedgewood San Ramon has become such a popular East Bay wedding venue.

The bride and her attendants get ready for the festivities in front of floor-to-ceiling mirrors in what the facility boasts is “the largest bridal dressing room in Contra Costa County.” Cherubs adorn the vanity and an antique French armoire, while potted plants and a Goddess of Love water fountain add to the charming atmosphere.

Almost all wedding ceremonies here take place on the lawn outside the banquet hall. On a sunny day, the weeping willow casts a cooling shadow across the grass, providing plenty of shade for your guests. Evening affairs are even more enchanting, with the lights from the white gazebo reflecting off the lake. When it’s time for the ceremony to begin, the bride waits inside the hall for her cue, and then steps through the French doors to follow the curving path to her groom. Should rain clouds appear at the last minute, there’s a lovely space inside the hall that serves as an indoor backup. With a fire crackling in the brick fireplace, the ceremony becomes quite cozy.

In fine weather, the patio between the hall and lawn is a lovely spot for cocktails and appetizers—guests relax at umbrella-shaded tables or stroll along the lakeshore to watch the swans, herons, turtles and other wildlife. When it’s time for the reception, move indoors to the Wedgewood Room, brightened by a bank of tinted windows that afford complete privacy while allowing everyone to enjoy the view out to the lake and golf course. Recessed lighting, a gleaming dance floor and a sunken bar create a sleek, contemporary vibe.

Wedgewood operates many facilities throughout the state, and is known for their all-inclusive wedding packages. When you book your wedding here almost everything can be covered: food, beverages, DJ, cake, flowers and invitations. The folks at Wedgewood focus on delivering value and service, and pride themselves on taking care of all your needs. At this venue they also offer access to an 18-hole public golf course, plenty of parking, and an entire building reserved just for your event. Wedgewood has over 25 years of wedding planning experience, so you can count on their expertise to make your celebration one you’ll always remember.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the estimated total event cost is required to reserve your date. An additonal 25% is due 120 days prior to the event and the balance (based on your final guest count) is due 10 days prior. All payments are credited towards your final balance and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. All-inclusive, completely customizable wedding packages start at $33/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21–22% service charge are additional.
