Hip, fresh, stylish and vibrant, this multifaceted boutique hotel in San Francisco’s artistic epicenter offers floor after floor of entertaining options for your extraordinary upcoming event.

It all begins at the lobby level, where the eclectic and electric mix of iconic design and contemporary luxury that characterizes W Hotels Worldwide is immediately apparent. Arranged more like a home than a lobby, W’s capacious Living Room brings suggestions of the cityscape and the artsy SF MOMA ambiance indoors in the sophisticated use of black and gray, the silvery and neon accents, and lighting that transitions naturally from day to night. This clubby, lounge-like setting with its chic metal-and-glass fireplace and racy black bar is a guaranteed ice-breaker, so start the party with a DJ and cocktails here…or use the restaurant, TRACE, with its focus on sustainability and innovation, for cocktails and dining. An outdoor lounge area further extends the ground-floor possibilities.

But don’t stop here. A swift ascent by stair or elevator will take you to the next dazzling level—the ultra-sexy mezzanine-style floor that overlooks the Living Room. A delicate fiber-optic chandelier waterfalls from the third-floor ceiling down through both spaces tying them together. In the Upstairs Drink Boutique, your guests can sip cocktails while watching the scene below. The long, all white LED-lit bar is a showstopper. Silver bead-curtained cabanas with Living Room views and private seating are a very subtle nod to San Francisco in the ‘60s and lend this sleek space a sultry charm. Need more room to mingle? How about dinner, dancing or cocktails in the Industry Room and its intimate prefunction area, another great spot from which to view the first-floor action.

There’s more. The third floor features two glamorous Great Rooms with a chocolate and teal color scheme, recessed lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, full A/V capability and a generous prefunction foyer. Both rooms can be combined for banquets and galas. Or consider the three Workrooms, which can also be used together if the occasion warrants, along with their own prefunction space. For certain celebrations you might want to book the whole floor, which also includes a Strategy Room and a Studio. Even the halls here are suitable for entertaining. You could wander around them for hours, relaxing in club and wingback chairs or chilling to music in the unusual chair pod—try it; it’s a cool backdrop for photos.

Want to take your affair to still greater heights? On the fourth floor you’ll find the marvelous rooftop Terrace for dining, dancing and ceremonies, as well as a pool called WET, a gym called SWEAT, and the very fittingly named BLISS Spa.
