Why We Like This Place

Located a mere ten minutes from downtown Napa, this custom-built hotel from Marriott is the ideal spot to host your dream Napa wedding without the big Napa cost. Romantic gardens, a private vineyard, gracious reception areas, and a relaxed atmosphere create a setting where you’ll want to gather friends and family to celebrate…then linger to explore the best of the Wine Country, just a picturesque drive away.

The hotel’s inviting lobby instantly draws you in with its warm Tuscan hues, soft leather chairs, exposed-beam ceiling and modern stone fireplace. French doors and a wall of windows overlook a covered patio and the venue’s beautifully landscaped grounds. This series of lush gardens, bordered with lavender, white roses and colorful seasonal blooms, are connected by meandering walkways and dotted with trees.

Springhill’s lovely ceremony site features large, twin lawns separated by a wide center aisle so that everyone seated on them has a clear view of your entrance. You’ll exchange vows beneath a lattice arch set in front of a charming fountain wall, reminiscent of something you’d see in an Italian piazza. In the background, tall trees frame the rolling Napa Hills.

This spacious outdoor plaza allows ample room for serving cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the grass or patio areas. Dinner and dancing follow in the Tented Pavilion, which has a large dance floor and a draped, high-peaked ceiling. You can remove the walls for an open-air effect, affording glorious views of the gardens as well as glowing pink sunsets fanning over the hotel’s Mediterranean roofline. A fire pit on the other side of the lawn makes a nice place for a nightcap or quiet conversation.

If you prefer an indoor reception, start with a red carpet entry into the Chardonnay Foyer and Ballroom, both designed with high ceilings and impressive glass chandeliers. The smaller, more intimate Bordeaux or Merlot Rooms might be perfect for your rehearsal or welcome dinner, or can serve as your bridal room.

Since only one wedding takes place at a time, you have your choice of several event locales. The certified wedding coordinator on site can help you with everything from choreographing the flow and choosing the décor to planning your menu and selecting preferred vendors. (There’s a full catering kitchen at the hotel so you also have the option of bringing in your own caterer).

Some packages include a complimentary suite for the newlyweds, along with discounts for out-of-town guests who will appreciate the roomy accommodations with separate sitting areas, flat screen TVs, i-docks, wet bars and free WiFi. There’s also a wine bar in the lobby and a free breakfast buffet to fortify you before a day of sightseeing…or just lounging by the pool beneath swaying palm trees..

Fees & Deposits

A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Event space rental fees range $750–3,500 depending on day and time rented, and event room selected. Meals range $25–120/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional.
