Why We Like This Place
One of Jack London Square’s most recognizable landmarks, Scott’s Seafood has long been a popular destination for fine dining. But what many people don’t know is that this waterfront restaurant is also a versatile event location with seven private banquet rooms. Diners enjoy terrific views of passing ships and the San Francisco skyline, and out-of-town guests appreciate the convenience of nearby hotels, plenty of parking, and ferry service for day excursions.
Each banquet room is individually decorated and has its own unique ambiance. The newly remodeled Pavilion is the largest venue, accommodating up to 350 seated or 600 for a cocktail reception. Brides find this space irresistible thanks to a combination of appealing features: During the day, natural light flows in through tall windows, and interior trees create a garden atmosphere. In the evening, tea lanterns suspended from the high, vaulted ceiling cast a soft light over the festivities. Persian rugs and mahogany Chiavari chairs add sophisticated touches. The Pavilion’s front doors open to the adjacent patio, making it easy for guests to take in some fresh air, the boardwalk scene and the wonderful view.
The Harborview Rooms are warm and inviting, with large windows overlooking the picturesque wooden boardwalk. Designed with faux-painted ceilings, modern chandeliers, leather chairs, and a copper-and-granite bar, they convey a feeling that’s both classical and contemporary. Smaller celebrations can be held in the charming waterfront Terrace, the Port of Oakland Room or the intimate Jack London Rooms, all of which are ideal for engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and day-after gatherings.
Scott’s Seafood, Jack London Square offers amenities you don’t normally find in standard banquet rooms, such as elegant full-length table linens, ivory overlays, charger plates, hurricane table lanterns and personalized menu cards to commemorate the occasion. In-house bakery and floral services are also available.
Scott’s has an extensive menu selection, and all dishes are prepared on site. Customer favorites include Stuffed Tuscan Chicken Breast, Peppercorn Crusted Filet Mignon and Layered Polenta Tower. Fresh seafood is delivered daily and presented in both modern and traditional ways. Salmon Alla Bella, Shiitake Crusted Tuna, Dungeness Crab Stuffed Halibut and Seafood Chiopino Pasta are just a few of your choices. The catering staff is happy to customize your menu, and can accommodate kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other special dietary requests.
With 27 years in business and a seasoned staff, Scott’s also provides off-site catering to many Bay Area banquet venues, homes and offices. No event is too big or too small, and they’re experts at handling everything from hors d’oeuvre station receptions and carryout platters to full-service plated meals. Fees & Deposits
A $500 deposit is required to secure your date. The food and beverage estimate is payable 7 days prior, with the remaining balance due the day of the event. Seated meals and buffets start at $30/person; hors d’oeuvres start at $20/person. Tax and a 20% service charge are additional.
