Located on the sunny side of the Monterey Peninsula in the scenic Carmel Valley, the golf club offers a wonderful selection of indoor and outdoor settings, including a ceremony site that takes advantage of the glorious weather. Picturesque Quail Meadows is just the thing for supersized weddings and receptions—its verdant lawns can hold as many as 600 of your nearest and dearest. It’s especially popular for ceremonies: A peaceful lake plays host to the occasional blue heron or covey of resident quail, and tree-covered hillsides form a gentle wave along the horizon. Whether you add a flower-laden bridal arch or let the scenery form the backdrop, this splendid spot will take your breath away. For an extra romantic touch, you can arrange for a horse-drawn carriage to bring you to the wedding site, which also boasts the Barn Loft, a cozy, rustic retreat.

The property and clubhouse provide a variety of spaces for receptions, parties and rehearsal dinners. Intimate private rooms and an outdoor terrace enjoy garden and poolside views; receptions for larger groups are held in the elegant Peninsula Ballroom, which boasts cathedral ceilings and three walls of windows that showcase the spectacular natural surroundings.

As you would expect at such a high-caliber club, dining here is a pleasurable experience. Edgar’s, a casual bistro with expansive golf course views, serves up fresh, local California cuisine and is the perfect place for a relaxed gathering with family and friends. And if your guests would like to unwind with a round of golf the day before or after your festivities, the challenging 18-hole course is one of the most walkable courses on the Monterey Peninsula.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: Outdoors, the Quail Meadows area holds up to 600 seated. Indoors, the Peninsula Ballroom holds 300 seated theater style, and 5 other rooms accommodate up to 100 seated guests.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: Indoors, the Peninsula Ballroom holds 200 seated or 300 standing, the Oak Room 30 seated or 50 standing, the Garden Room 50 seated or 70 standing guests.

MEETING CAPACITY: There are 3 rooms that can accommodate 30–300 theater-style, 26–60 boardroom-style or 24–200 seated classroom-style.

Fees & Deposits

For special events, a $500–5,000 nonrefundable site fee plus a 10% deposit on the estimated food and beverage total is required as a deposit. A customized payment schedule is developed with all charges due 30 days prior to the event. Luncheons start $38/person, dinners at $45/person, and buffets at $42/person; alcohol, tax and a 19% service charge are additional. Wedding packages can be arranged.
