Why We Like This Place

Set on 267 beautifully landscaped acres near downtown Pleasanton, the Palm Pavilion and Q Gallery are home to weddings, private parties, and corporate events year-round.

The Palm Pavilion, located at the edge of Pleasanton's historic racetrack, is a contemporary, full-service reception hall designed for both indoor and outdoor entertaining. Inside, a golden oak bar, terracotta tiles, and cream walls lend the space an inviting warmth, while a variety of lighting options make this large (5,000-square-foot) space feel surprisingly intimate. Generous windows on three sides showcase views of the grounds' expansive lawns and lush landscaping, while three adjoining patio areas allow you and your guests to enjoy Pleasanton's temperate weather at any time of year.

Just across the way, the Q Gallery provides a casually sophisticated setting with pristine white walls, skylights, and a polished concrete floor. Natural light flows in through a series of high windows, and elegant glass doors roll up to access the adjoining Wine Garden for a seamless transition from ceremony to reception.

The tree-shaded garden can also be reserved separately for al fresco weddings, receptions, and other special events. Stucco walls and wine barrels add rustic charm to this gated courtyard, where mature trees and seasonal floral beds create a tranquil oasis.

For larger gatherings, additional buildings on the grounds accommodate up to 3,000 guests, with plenty of space for even the grandest affair. The experienced event and catering staff can handle everything from an informal outdoor wedding to a lavish fête. And because all of the venues are part of the nonprofit Fairgrounds, the event revenue generated goes back into the meticulously maintained property.

With so much to offer—including services and amenities you won't find at smaller facilities—the Palm Pavilion or Q Gallery could be the perfect place for your special day.
