Palm Pavilion

Why We Like This Place

Set on 267 beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of downtown Pleasanton, the Palm Pavilion is home to many events year-round, including weddings, private parties and corporate affairs.

Surrounded by its namesake trees, the versatile facility enables you to celebrate indoors and out. Inside, the golden oak bar, pale terracotta tiles and cream walls lend the space an inviting warmth, while a variety of lighting options make this large (5,000-square-foot) space feel surprisingly intimate. Generous windows on three sides showcase views of the golf course and main lawn area. Three adjoining patios—two open and one covered—let you and your guests revel in the balmy Pleasanton weather. In addition, the building is fully air-conditioned, and boasts up-to-date audiovisual technology.

Just a few steps away is the Wine Garden where ceremonies are held. Couples exchange vows on a raised platform near a burbling fountain, against a lush backdrop of flowers, ferns and other greenery. The stucco wall enclosing the garden ensures privacy.

If you’re a bride on a budget, you won’t find a better venue than the Palm Pavilion. The experienced staff will give you as much (or as little) assistance as you want, and they can handle everything from an upscale wedding to a quinceañera. Plus, they provide services and amenities you won’t find at smaller facilities, such as an on-site plant nursery, acres of nearby parking, security, and plenty of privacy.

And because the Pavilion is part of the nonprofit Alameda County Fairgrounds, the revenue they generate goes back into maintaining and improving the property, ensuring that the grounds and buildings are always in tip-top shape.

With so much to offer, the Palm Pavilion could be the surprise perfect place for your special event!
