Why We Like This Place

Located in the heart of Wine Country, just blocks from Santa Rosa’s Historic Railroad Square and a short drive from over 200 nearby wineries, the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa is a venue you and your guests will love. You can host your entire celebration here, and whether you’re planning a local or destination wedding the hotel is the perfect home base for exploring the region. It offers a wide variety of event sites along with an attentive staff that can help you design an intimate dinner, a gala reception, or a spectacular al fresco affair in their divine gardens.

Nestled behind the hotel, the dual gardens are true treasures. The verdant Knights Valley Garden includes an expansive lawn and is highlighted by an impressive 80-foot water wall that borders one side. There’s a curved trellis at the far end, which many brides use as an altar, and a wisteria-covered arbor that’s ideal for a shaded rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour, followed by a reception on the grass. Another flower-covered arbor separates this locale from the even larger Sonoma Valley Garden. Planted with fragrant roses and lavender, it’s framed by an array of lush trees and punctuated with dramatic sculptures. You can pose for photos amongst the rows of vines in a small vineyard, or in front of the wonderfully photogenic “Bridge”. This striking wood-and-iron trestle, part of the Prince Memorial Greenway running behind the property, is worth exploring with your photographer (check out the stone steps and creek, too!).

Where the gardens meet the hotel, you’ll find the Dry Creek Patio, a romantic spot for dancing or a cool-weather ceremony in front of the flickering fireplace. French doors open to the light and airy Dry Creek Valley Ballroom, with delicate sconces and soft pastel tones. Both this space and the Russian River Valley Ballroom, with its adjoining courtyard, enjoy lovely views and are just right for mid-sized celebrations. But if you decide to go big, then the Alexander Valley Ballroom and its large prefunction foyer are for you. Modern chandeliers, state-of-the art audiovisual equipment and room for 500 of your nearest and dearest give you the grand setting you desire.

Whatever your needs, their experienced Wedding Specialist—who also serves as your “day of” coordinator—can guide you every step of the way, from choosing décor and lighting packages to customizing your menu. She can also assist with other activities or services, like arranging some pampering at the LeCarre spa (which includes a hair, nail and makeup salon) or booking a welcome dinner for your bridal party at their casual-chic Brasserie Restaurant and Lounge. She’s happy to reserve accommodations for out-of-town guests, too.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 10 business days prior to the event. Rental fees range $500–2,000 depending on the guest count and the space reserved. Meals range $60–100/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21% service charge are additional.
