Why We Like This Place

When it comes to hosting weddings, the Hilton Sacramento Arden West may surprise you. The warmth of the place is something you feel right away—comfy couches in the spacious Lobby invite you to relax and unwind in front of the fireplace—and that stress-free vibe continues when you choreograph your celebration, too, as events flow smoothly from one area to another.

Hidden from view is the hotel’s beautiful new Waterfall Terrace, a shaded open-air ceremony lawn. A stonework walkway leads to an arbor surrounded by lush greenery. Here you exchange vows, accompanied by the soothing sounds of a rock waterfall and fountain in the background. Enclosed by high walls, this is a serene oasis that you and your guests can enjoy in total privacy.

Afterwards, everyone takes a short walk past the pool area and into the Atrium Solarium Foyer, a truly lovely spot for mingling over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. In fact, this room is so appealing that it’s often reserved for smaller receptions all by itself. The main focal point is a huge skylight that fills the space with natural light, giving it an open, airy feeling. Architectural details like the high, coffered ceiling; perimeter columns; and Palladian windows create a sophisticated ambiance.

When it’s time for dining and dancing, doors open to the versatile Grand Ballroom, which can be sectioned to suit the size of your group and features a neutral color scheme (decorating is a breeze!) and modern, cerchi chandeliers. A private patio just outside is perfect for guests who want a little fresh air…or for a fun cigar party.

More intimate receptions are held in the Folsom Ballroom at the front of the hotel. It boasts a private entrance, as well as an atrium foyer complete with grand piano and greenery view.

Something the bride and groom really appreciate is that they each have their own exclusive retreat on the top floor. The Concierge Level offers a “Gentlemen’s Lounge” for the guys, where they can hang out on couches in front of the large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access to a balcony with a west-facing view of the cityscape (a great spot to pose with the bride for sunset photos!). The bride and her entourage can take over the Presidential Suite, often arriving the day before the wedding to kick back and prepare for the Big Day in an unhurried way. They have everything they need here: a living room with TV, dining area, bar, and floor-to ceiling windows that open to a balcony.

One of the highlights of this hotel is the quality of the food. Event cuisine is overseen by the Executive Chef, who has his own cooking show and has cooked for past presidents and celebrities. He’ll customize your menu, and is expert at preparing all types of dishes: regional specialties, French, Spanish, Indian, Asian—even BBQ smoked on the premises!

In addition to weddings, the Hilton Sacramento Arden West is a popular choice for corporate functions, holiday parties, and other special occasions. With its convenient location close to Highways 5 and 80, it’s easily accessible to local or out-of-town guests and provides a great home base for exploring the region.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date, and the balance is due 10 days prior to the event. The rental fee ranges $500–4,000 depending on the space rented and the day of the event. Meals range $30–66/person. Tax, alcohol and a 22% service charge are additional. Outside caterers are allowed for ethnic cuisine only.
