An authentic Spanish-style mansion, the Hacienda de las Flores sits on land that was once the hunting ground for Miwok Indians. The historic town-owned structure is painted white with blue trim, and is surrounded by well-maintained park grounds. Inside the Hacienda, hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and a fireplace create a warm and inviting setting. Outdoors, a large lawn spreads out behind the building, enhanced by blue atlas cedar trees, pines, willows, palms and flowers. A circular flowerbed and fountain in the middle of the patio serve as the focal point for large parties or wedding receptions.
From the upper Hacienda lawn, flagstone stairs lead down to the Pavilion, a semicircular building with huge Corinthian columns overlooking a walled garden with lawn and patio. A set of large wrought-iron gates leads guests into the enclosure, where small seated functions or ceremonies can take place. Tranquil and secluded, the Hacienda offers one of the prettiest garden environments for special events in the East Bay.
CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Hacienda holds 50 seated or 75 standing guests indoors, and the adjacent lawn up to 200 seated or standing. The Pavilion holds 50 seated or 60 standing indoors, and the Pavilion lawn 150 seated or standing.
EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Hacienda accommodates 200 guests outdoors or 100 for a seated meal indoors, throughout a few rooms. The Pavilion seats 50 inside and has an outdoor capacity of 150.
MEETING CAPACITY: There are 9 rooms that can accommodate 12–60 seated guests.
Event rental fees range $935–4,500 depending on the space selected, time of year and residency. To reserve your date, half of the rental fee, a $750 refundable security deposit and a $250 nonrefundable application fee are required. Remaining fees are due 6 months prior to the event. A deposit is required if you plan to use a non-preferred caterer or musicians. The damage deposit will be refunded within 60 days after the event provided all conditions have been met.
For weekday business meetings, fees vary depending on room(s) selected, and include room setup. There is an additional fee for use of the Hacienda kitchen.
