Why We Like This Place

The Garden Court Hotel is one of the few venues on the Peninsula where you can host your wedding ceremony and reception and your guests can stay. Recently remodeled, the hotel provides a warm, relaxed atmosphere combined with modern sensibilities and five-star personalized service.

Designed around a beautiful open-air European-style courtyard, the hotel is visually impressive. The large central fountain and tiers of flower-laden balconies create the feeling of an old Mediterranean town square. Arches abound, planters and urns are filled with colorful flowers and evergreen foliage, and trees are lit with twinkle lights. Celebrations often begin around the fountain in the courtyard with butler-passed champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Then guests are invited into the spacious Courtyard Ballroom for the main event.

The Grove Ballroom on the second floor is another favorite reception space. Floor-to-ceiling arched windows wrap around the room and overlook a lushly landscaped balcony. Here, guests may enjoy an al fresco cocktail hour out on the balcony followed by dinner and dancing inside. Both ballrooms are popular for their indoor/outdoor flow and inviting ambiance.

There are many benefits that contribute to the complete guest experience at the Garden Court. A few of them are exclusively available to wedding couples with a guaranteed guest list of 75 or more: preferred room rates for guests staying at the hotel; a complimentary guestroom for the wedding couple on the night of the event; and a complimentary seven-night “Honeymoon in Spain” that the couple may split between multiple sister hotels. What more could you ask for?

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Grove Ballroom accommodates 225 seated or 300 standing. The Courtyard Ballroom holds 120 seated or 200 standing.

EVENT/RECEPTION & MEETING CAPACITY: Various rooms can accommodate 8–230 seated or 8–300 standing for a reception. For a meeting, the hotel seats 8–60 conference-style or 8–200 theater-style. Removable dividing walls can vary the room size.

Fees & Deposits

For weddings, a $1,000–3,000 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking, an additional $3,000 nonrefundable deposit is due 6 months prior to your event date, and the final estimated total is due 10 days prior to the event. All deposits are applied to the total cost of the event. Facility fees start at $1,000 and vary depending on the day of the week and space reserved. Menu and beverage packages range $65–95/person. Tax and a 20% service charge are additional. All pricing is guaranteed 90 days prior to the event date, with some specialty items subject to market change.
