Why We Like This Place

Nestled high in the foothills above the Tri-Valley, Dublin Ranch Golf Course and Event Center enjoys uncommonly beautiful views previously seen only by the cattle and horses grazing on the neighboring hillsides.

With its pale taupe shingle siding and gambrel-roof gables, the clubhouse was designed to reflect its 21st-century rural setting. Beds of roses are planted throughout the parking lot, and a graceful three-tiered fountain splashes in the center of a large circular driveway. As we walked between the white columns of the enormous porte-cochère we half expected to be greeted at the door with a mint julep.

Inside the clubhouse, clean modern lines replace the pastoral exterior. Light wood paneling and a slate floor mark the expansive foyer that runs the length of the building. Guests in the bright and airy bar and adjoining Banquet Room look out at the 18-hole public golf course and steep terrain of the Dublin hills through wide panels of tinted windows. At the end of the spacious hall three sets of glass double doors open to the Clubhouse Terrace.

The wide patio, enclosed by a low stone wall edged with crepe myrtle trees and rose bushes, was created with weddings in mind. All eyes will be on the bride as she approaches the garden gate from an outside path and walks toward her groom, waiting beneath the large portico next to the building. Couples also have the option of exchanging vows beside a white lattice arch placed in front of the small gate, and additional lattice screens are available to add privacy to the setting. After the ceremony, umbrella-shaded tables can be set up for a small outdoor reception or as an extension to the festivities held inside. On a warm summer’s night you and your guests can even throw open the Banquet Room doors and turn the terrace into an open-air dance floor.

The Banquet Room is a lovely site for a reception at any time of the day. During the morning, sunlight streams through the windows. Later in the evening, the soft dome lamps on the coffered ceiling cast a romantic glow on the guests, seated at tables set with white linens and china. Dublin Ranch offers a variety of banquet menus, with your choice of plated or buffet service, that are designed to please even the most finicky of palates. Everyone from the Executive Chef and Event Manager to the service staff is eager to work with the bride and groom making them feel right at home. In addition, only one event is scheduled at a time, ensuring that each couple gets the attention they deserve.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Terrace holds up to 150 seated guests; the Ceremony Lawn up to 200 seated guests. Indoors, the Banquet Room up to 200 seated guests.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Clubhouse Terrace holds up to 80 seated or 180 standing guests; the Banquet Room can accommodate 150 seated for reception with a dance floor, and up to 200 for a standing cocktail reception. The venue can hold up to 275 seated guests if you combine both indoor and outdoor spaces.

MEETING CAPACITY: Event spaces hold up to 200 guests seated theater-style.

A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the estimated Food & Beverage minimum is due 6 months prior and the balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Venue rental fees start at $1,350 and includes dance floor, cake cutting, bridal suite, linens, place setting, seating, etc., depending on nature of event, catering option chosen, day and time. In-house meals and appetizers start at $49/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional. Or ask Dublin Ranch about arrangements to bring in your choice of outside caterer.
