Waterlily Pond

Services

Voted “Best of the Bay Wedding Flowers” by San Francisco Chronicle readers, Waterlily Pond Studio speaks to brides looking to make a truly unique aesthetic statement.

Waterlily Pond has been recognized for their artistry, creating works commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the de Young Museum for high-profile art openings. One of their most notable pieces was a magnificent 800-pound floral display suspended over the de Young Museum’s atrium during the 25th Anniversary Bouquets to Art exhibit.

Owner and Lead Designer Natasha Lisitsa is known for the use of bold flowers in adventurous color combinations and a variety of interesting natural materials.

Waterlily Pond’s service doesn’t end with flowers—their designers can create the overall look for your event, from linens and tabletop rentals to the floor plan, draping and lighting design. For an extra-special touch, brides can avail themselves of a one-of-a-kind custom-designed sculptural piece, such as Waterlily Pond’s signature Zen Pool or Floating Buffet.

Certified By The Guide Reviews

(What does this mean?)
These Reviews are from real brides who have used this vendor's services—pulled straight from their Certified by The Guide reference check. We only post reviews that we have collected, so we can feel confident that they are the real deal. Yes, we know. We're control freaks.

“I just thought Natasha’s stuff was visually dazzling. There was no contest with the other florists. She was my hands-down favorite. People were literally fighting for the centerpieces.”

“Natasha has a great design sense, a wonderful color sense, and a great sense of humor. She does not try to push her style onto other people. Take her. She’s great.”

“I met with a lot of floral designers, but I just thought Natasha was a breed apart. I liked her design sensibility and that she really took the time to learn about me and wanted to see my dress. She just has a very modern and sophisticated approach. Every piece she did for me was a winner, just stunning. People at the reception raved so much about the flowers, they stripped the tables bare! They even took the arrangements out of the men’s room.”

“Natasha took into account the location, the dress, my heritage and my crazy ideas and turned it all into a stunning reality. She is a gem.”

“Natasha is creative, talented, and very original in her art. She takes time to pay attention to every detail of her arrangements. She is an extremely professional businesswoman. She will make you feel like your event is the most important one she is working on.”

About This Company

Owner Natasha Lisitsa has an intuitive, unconventional approach to design. After studying both Ikebana and Western-style floral design, she developed her own style, which fuses Eastern and Western design principles and is often referred to as “exuberant ikebana.” Her inspiration comes from observing nature, traveling around the world, and paying attention to trends in architecture, interior design and fashion. Her work has been published in many national and local magazines, including Martha Stewart Weddings, People, Bride and Bloom, and The Knot.
