Silvana’s love of photography began at the age of twelve, when she picked up her father’s camera and a fan to take “model” photos of her friends. Her enthusiasm for capturing beautiful images has only grown stronger since that time; and while she loves the freedom of digital photography, she still incorporates traditional film into some of her collections. Questions and Answers

What 3 words describe your work? Modern. Clean. Artistic.

Why should someone hire you? I'm very easy yet super professional. You will have your photos on time and I'm available at all times throughout the entire process. No guessing games. I truly love what I do. All aspects of my business, not just the fun artistic stuff, but also running my own business and pleasing my clients.

What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work? Cinema. I love the look and feel of film. I have a degree in Television – Radio – Film, so my inspirations usually come from my favorite movies. In turn, I incorporate film into some of my collections. I think that it's a luxury every bride should have—even in this digital age.

What makes a wedding memorable for you? The couple's love story and the attention to the tiniest of details.

What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding? Really think about the photography. We photographers LOVE the magic hour (one hour before sunset). If you are having a summer, spring, or fall outdoor wedding, the portrait session really comes to life during this wonderful time.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be? Four hands and two pairs of eyes.

What's your favorite book/movie/work of art? I love way too many movies and books, but my favorite photographer is Sarah Moon.

If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead? Ohh... I would be a Music Photographer. That doesn't count does it? OK, I would be an interior decorator.
