Sarah and her highly skilled team of artists provide hair styling, hair coloring, cutting, makeup, hair extensions, lash applications and eyebrow contouring for you and your entire wedding party. Sarah will sit down with you for a consultation to learn more about your personal wedding day style. With her many years of experience working with brides and entire bridal parties, Sarah has mastered the art of ensuring that everyone is done on schedule, keeping you calm on your big day. She will even provide you with a timeline for all of her services and brings in seasoned professionals for support when necessary.
You also want to look flawless for the engagement portraits, at your bachelorette party and the rehearsal dinner. Sarah is available for all of your pre-wedding events and has a knack for bringing a different beauty style for each occasion. She is also a pro at creating a different look for each bridesmaid. She can highlight your hair for your special day and renew and brighten your look.
A minimum booking of $800.00 in services is required and you can mix and match services to create a customized package that suits you and your bridal party.

Questions and Answers
Tell us about your company name. sHe is actually my monogram for Sarah Elizabeth Hyde. I always loved how my grandmother's towels and some of her silver had her monogram on it. My father was in advertising in NYC when I was born and he deliberately chose my name with my monogram in mind!
Why should someone hire you? We are really good at making brides look and feel comfortable and like themselves. We specialize in making brides look naturally beautiful. Of course we can go red carpet va va voom too!
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or most interesting moment at a wedding: One of the most touching moments for me was right after 9/11. There were no planes. I was working on a bride in Napa doing her hair, when a big black limo drove up to the front of the resort. We all looked up and looked at this mysterious black car. The car door opened, and a man got out in a crinkled suit with sunglasses, looking like a celebrity. Who was this man? The brides father! He had hired a driver, and for 3 days they drove non-stop from the east coast to make his daughter's wedding and surprise her. We all cried.
What makes a wedding memorable for you? Usually it is the connection I have with the bride. How much she trusts me with her face and her makeup and how we feel working together.
What have weddings taught you? That feeling good on the inside is the most important thing, but looking fantastic on the outside brings joy to us too. Beauty heals, and assisting others to feel beautiful is a gift to me. I love the smiles and the love that shines back at me.

After training in New York, London, and Paris, Sarah started working in print, television and film in New York City. Having worked at Il Makiage both in New York and San Francisco, she then went on to work at 77 Maiden Lane Salon and Spa. Now specializing in weddings, Sarah has worked with hundreds of brides and brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences to your wedding day to make you look and feel like the best possible you. Many of her brides have been featured in national publications: Town and Country, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Elegant Bride, to name a few.
Sarah is currently located at Magnolia Avenue Salon in Larkspur and is available for color consultations for both hair and makeup.
