Services

For over 27 years Pat Gibbons has been bringing her artistry to the world of flowers, mixing color, texture and the highest quality flowers in her designs. She’s been told she has the best eye for color in the industry and is “truly a master of her craft.” Her approach to design is always fresh and creative, and her clients love her friendly and easy manner. The design process begins with a complimentary 1-hour consultation. During this time and throughout the planning process, Pat works closely with her clients, developing ideas based on their personal style, color theme, and overall vision. Her extensive portfolios show the quality and versatility of her work, giving her clients a wide range of examples to use in creating their own, unique floral presentation. Pat limits her schedule to 1 wedding per day to maintain the quality and service she’s known for. She is personally on site for the delivery and setup of the flowers.

Pat Gibbons has added a new wedding favor and custom glass memento design service to her business:

  • Jars of local, unprocessed honey, decorated with a custom label and colorful hand-cut paper flower topping the jar—delightful and delicious!
  • Individually hand-painted and kiln-fired square glass pieces based on your color scheme, flowers or an abstract pattern evoking the spirit of your event. A magnet attaches it to an escort card for your sign-in table so it becomes both a sparkling table décor and an everlasting favor for your guests.
  • As a memento of your bouquet, Pat hand-paints a design on glass working from a photo of your bouquet, then kiln-fires it to become a permanent fusion of art and nature.

Questions and Answers

What 3 words describe your work? Style. Design. Beauty.

Why should someone hire you? What I give to my clients is the experience and expertise I've learned from designing wedding flowers for 27 years. I only accept one wedding per day so I can offer the best in service, quality and innovation.

What drew you to this field/how did you get started? I think I've worked towards this since I was 5 yrs old when I had my first garden. I've always been creative and designing flowers brought together all the things I love to do. I've developed designs that are expressions of my art.

What are some of sources of inspiration or influences on your work? Like most people in the arts, inspiration comes from everywhere. I can see a color, a print, a leaf, a pattern on a fabric or the architecture of a building and a whole design concept evolves from it. It often happens during the consultation, while listening to my clients. I get ideas from what they like and what they see in my portfolio.

Tell us about a favorite, unusual or most interesting moment at a wedding: I designed the wedding florals for a couple who loved flowers and color and it was great fun working with them. Their thank you note has always remained with me, it read: "Your flowers will always be a brilliant, glorious memory of our wedding day and you really made our day so much more special."
