Questions and Answers
What inspired you to create your own signature blend of Indian spices?
I created these spice blends to help make tasty regional Indian dishes. I dug out favorite dishes of three kings and three queens from different regions of India to inspire me to create these unique spice blends. Some couples have even used these as memorable and delicious wedding favors.
Can you tell us about a memorable moment you recall from your wedding catering experience?
There was the time when a couple made a donation to a charity we run, called the Compassionate Chefs Café (CompassionateChefs.org). The donations support disadvantaged children in the Tenderloin as well as at the Gandhi Ashram in India. For the couple, this was their way of celebrating their wedding. Imagine their surprise when I later sent them a receipt making their donation tax deductible!
