Questions and Answers

What 3 words describe your work? Artistic. Elegant. Photojournalistic.

Why should someone hire you? We don't merely pay attention to details—we craft the details that clearly differentiate a piece of art from an ordinary image. Every moment of your wedding day is the most important moment. These moments are carefully documented with an unobtrusive energy and presence allowing the day to unfold and be the magic that it is.

What are the common misconceptions about your services? That it is too expensive. Expert photography is worth it. It's the best way to visually document and encapsulate the emotion, the love and the feelings of the day.

What are some of sources of inspiration or influences on your work? A bride glowing as she sees her soon-to-be husband for the first time during the ceremony…the poignant look that parents have as they realize their child has grown up and is getting married…plus I'm inspired by unusual and dynamic photography in fashion magazines.

Tell us about a wedding you worked on that really made you proud: I have become great friends with the first couple whose wedding I photographed as a professional photographer. I had the pleasure of photographing Brianna when she was pregnant with their first child and then photographing their son when he was a newborn. The circle of life captured with a camera—it's a great thing.

What have weddings have taught you? The human spirit is alive and well. With every wedding I encounter compassionate, caring and dynamic people who love life, family, friends and have a true disposition for making the most of a moment.

What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding? Be flexible and have FUN. Remember this is just the party; your lives together are more significant. So relax, have fun and stick to what you want—not what someone else may want for you.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be? I would be the incredible Captain Clone with cloning powers. I could use a little assistance sometimes. ;-)

What are 3 words that describe your personality? Compassionate, fun and humble.

What's your favorite marriage advice? By seeking a greater understanding and awareness of who we are as individuals, we can create more fulfilling relationships with ourselves and our partner.

Extracurricular Activities: Yoga, basketball, hikes, brisk walks, working out, hanging out with friends and family, gardening. I love looking at houses—especially older ones so I can get creative ideas for my place.

What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day? If relaxation is a must and I feel like creating my own space, an hour of yoga is the only way to go. If I want to relax with friends than a nice dinner and an adult beverage hit the spot.
