MetMedia is proud to be one of the few video companies that focuses solely on weddings.

MetMedia’s signature high level of service goes way beyond what clients expect. Jonathan travels to meet with clients on weeknights in their homes. He attends the wedding rehearsal to learn every detail about each ceremony and to locate ideal camera positions.

Because Jonathan really gets to know his clients, he has a unique perspective that he brings to life on screen. “If the groom is not a ‘touchy-feely’ person and he starts hugging everybody—that’s a big deal. If I didn’t know him very well, it might not seem like an important shot.” Jonathan also believes that when a couple is comfortable with him, they allow those special spontaneous moments to occur while he captures the action undetected.

Jonathan is behind the camera at every wedding and does all of the editing. MetMedia tailors each video to meet the vision and personality of each couple. No two videos are ever alike, and MetMedia’s unique service allows couples to preview their video to make sure that everything is perfect before MetMedia masters their DVDs. All wedding videos are delivered on DVD as a standard part of their service.

About This Company

Owner Jonathan Metcalf has spent over half of his life behind a video camera. He launched MetMedia while working in broadcast television for the WB affiliate in San Francisco.

“It’s the best job in the world,” Jonathan tells people. “I am invited to participate in life’s most important moments. I am lucky to be able to provide the only way for couples to enjoy those moments after the wedding. We help couples relive the experience of their wedding whenever they want—for the rest of their lives. That’s really what we do.”
