As a boutique event planning and design company, the collections offered by MB Wedding Design and Events are fully customizable, as they understand not every wedding or event is alike. Full wedding planning and event design services start with a one-on-one personal consultation in their San Francisco studio to better understand your vision, followed by vendor research and referrals and several one-on-one meetings. Vendor selection can be daunting for brides. Luckily, choosing the perfect vendor for each client’s style and budget is Michelle’s specialty. Michelle will set up meetings with vendors, attend the meetings with you to ensure all questions are answered, plus Michelle will make the necessary follow-up contacts while handling contract negotiations.
Michelle and her team can also come in mid-way through the planning process and help you pick up the pieces. This type of service is considered partial planning and can be paired with or without their event design services. Either way, with her stylish interpretation skills, Michelle takes your vision to the next level to create an event that is both personal and unique to you.

The difference between a coordinator and an event designer. I consider myself an event designer first and a wedding planner second. My goal is to understand your vision and take it to the next stage, using my stylish interpretation. I design events; I don't just coordinate them. I help my client’s plan their event from beginning to end. Our staff is equipped with 3 dedicated event designers and 2 wedding planners, so no small detail is overlooked.
I began my career in the corporate world, planning small to large corporate meetings, product launches and coordinating tradeshows. I wanted something more personal, so my love for planning events led me to weddings.
The personal elements each couple allows me to infuse into their wedding day. I think a wedding should be a reflection of who you are and what you are passionate about. Even if the bride and groom share different likes, combining the two makes for a fun and unique celebration.
Do not sweat the small stuff. If you hire a professional to help you with your wedding, trust that individual. When you allow any professional to do their job to the best of their ability, you get more creativity from them and trust is the key.

Being a native San Franciscan, I love my SF Giants. Baseball games on a cool summer night are the best.
