We're so pleased to have an amazing custom jewelry designer in house. We have Bel Aire Bridal and Boutique de Voile veils and headpieces, and wedding veils by Paloma Blanca and Mikaella. Belts and sashes are available from every designer we carry, as well as by Elle and Jae. And there are more goodies, too!
Most gowns we sell end up costing $1,000-2,500.
Warmth, knowledge and patience--we can get it done!
Our extensive industry knowledge, and our patience. Also, we're open 7 days a week for our customers' convenience, and have over 350 dresses in our store to look at!
Janene’s Bridal Boutique in Alameda has so much to offer! Here are some highlights:
An East Bay Jewel: Janene’s is located on the island of Alameda near the vibrant Park Street neighborhood. They treat their customers to a beautiful, relaxing shopping experience in an intimate, well-lit store. When you add up the time (and stress) for traffic and parking in the City, a trip to the East Bay doesn’t really take much more time at all. And if your destination is Janene’s, it is so worth it.
Dynamic Duo: Janene’s is helmed by an amazing mother and daughter team: Janene, a master seamstress and experienced dressmaker; and Stephani, an expert salon manager with an eye for style and a patient, understanding approach to her customers. Add to this mix a couple of well-informed consultants, and the result is an exceptional level of quality service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Creative Craftsmanship: Why do top S.F. bridal salons refer their customers to Janene’s for alterations? Because she delivers, on time and with masterful precision. Janene’s experience as a dressmaker means she’ll work with you to make customizations to your dress—add sleeves, or hand-beading, for example—or even dream up a unique custom bridal gown from scratch! Psst…she’s also an expert and hand embroidery, and not just for bridal wear: wouldn’t monogrammed scarves and handkerchiefs make memorable attendant gifts?
Awesome Offerings: The well-curated selection of bridal gowns are low to moderately priced, and don’t skimp on style. Some of the most popular designers in the industry—such as Tara Keely by Lazaro, Martina Liana, Maggie Sottero, Jim Hjelm’s Blush, WTOO, Enzoani and Pronovias—represent a range of fashions suitable for every bride. And Janene’s carries veils, headpieces, bridal shoes and customized jewelry, so you can put the finishing touches on your aisle look.
Relax: Janene’s is a “no pressure” store, so you can take as much time as you need to find “the one.” They close the store for you during your exclusive appointment, and you aren’t rushed or limited to just a few wedding dresses (one bride reportedly tried on 26!). And, unusual for a salon, they’ll let you take photos of you in your dress, in case you need to mull over your options later.
They Care. They really, really do! Time and again, we heard brides say how warm and understanding Janene’s team is. One reports that her gal pals, “couldn’t stop raving about how patient, helpful and ‘real’ Stephani was.” Another was favorably impressed by their sensitivity to her limited funds: “They were so sweet about it! Without their willingness to work with my budget, I would not have been able to purchase the gown I loved.”
