A fashionable couple celebrated their marriage in style, overlooking San Francisco Bay. Their custom stationery set the tone for their highly anticipated event.
The bride selected a stylish Lazaro gown and her bridesmaids each picked a different shade of purple to wear.
The groomsmen wore gray Calvin Klein suits.
Rows of chairs were flanked by lush arrangements of blue and purple flowers.
Pedestals wrapped in textured fabrics were a fashionable base for more ceremony arrangements.
In line with the fashion-forward theme, the cocktail tables featured green flowers with gray spools of thread as the vase.
A fashionable food station was constructed from two vintage sewing machines.
The food table was decorated with pages of classic fashion magazines, with sliders set atop vintage thread chests.
Check out the unique escort card display! Instead of traditional tent cards, wooden thread spools displayed the guests’ names and table assignments.
Luxurious linens and fashionable lamps lend an eclectic and contemporary feel to this black and purple color scheme.
Tables were named after the couple’s favorite neighborhoods in New York and San Francisco.
Adjacent to the dining area was a lounge area, complete with tufted sofas and couture coffee tables.
The dramatic wedding cake and candy station are absolute show-stoppers.
And they lived Fashionably Ever After...
At the ceremony location, large hydrangea wreaths were hung on the entry doors, while custom aisle stands were accented with wreaths and candles.
The bride’s bouquet was composed of mini calla lilies and white orchids. Her bridesmaids carried bouquets of green cymbidium orchids, which stood out beautifully against their blue dresses.
The Carneros Inn was the reception site, where guests were welcomed with a signature drink which set the tone for their "Discovery" themed wedding.
Proscuitto-wrapped scallops at an appetizer station embellished with vintage charts, a telescope and a globe.
Wedding idea: paper flowers make a backdrop wall for photos!
Yellow mums and calla lilies provided a bright centerpiece for the dining tables, which guests found with the help of their telescope-shaped escort cards.
Guests dined under a dazzling display of floral chandeliers.
The lime green and blue color scheme fit the outdoor setting perfectly!
The centerpieces included blue hydrangeas and green orchids.
Following dinner, guests were invited into the adjacent Hilltop Room for dancing and lounging.
Their wedding cake was embellished with the same design from their wedding invitation.
“She is fantastic and I highly recommend her! She really left no detail unanalyzed! I got to enjoy my wedding, and I owe that to Joyce. My husband says that hiring Joyce was the best decision I made—other than marrying him, of course!!!!!!!”
“Joyce had some of the greatest ideas. She carried the theme throughout the event by having the most spectacular and fun centerpieces—It was just an amazing, amazing night and all I did was basically choose the right event coordinator!”
“After working with Joyce in the planning stages, she so created that trust in her abilities, that I was able to give up control and enjoy every bit of my wedding day. Joyce was very creative and gave me many suggestions on how to enhance my ideas in ways I would never have thought of.”
“She did everything from the invitations on! She was a very good negotiator with the vendors, and amazingly organized. I simply don’t know what I would have done without her. My wedding was simply perfect and Joyce is simply fabulous!!!!!!!”
“She is really a top professional in her field. The events we have done with her are truly the most phenomenal ones. She has an exceptional eye for detail and her events are always class acts.”
