Unique, creative, one-of-a-kind—wedding planning at its best!
Exquisite. Detailed. Creative.
Anyone can help you select linen colors, but to be able to walk in on the wedding day and pull together all of the different vendors to create one seamless team for the couple and their guests? That comes from experience. And to do it all with a calm and soothing nature—magic!
I think it is the most important thing. Just because a bride has planned her own spectacular wedding, doesn't mean (even after taking courses) that she'll be a good planner. There are a lot of not-so-pretty things that need to get done sometimes, and you don't always get to pick and choose to just do the 'fun stuff.'
Some think that wedding planning is all fluff. Yes, we make things pretty, but I keep an eye on your budget, oversee the contracts, and make sure you're getting all that you've paid for, too.
I began by doing hair and make up for weddings, and while on-site (for touch-ups) I would help out wherever I could. So after traveling for a few years, I came home, and all my experience made this a natural fit.
The bride. The groom. The couple. Each wedding reflects them and their families—not me and what I want to do. I can do something 100 times, or for the first time—its always the first time for them.
There are 3 things that can still bring me to tears: the moment the bride steps onto the aisle; the vows; and the toasts—especially from the father of the bride. These are such personal moments and I am truly honored to be a witness to them.
The joy friends and family share with the couple on their wedding day is universal. It doesn't matter what culture, economics, or education—they are there because they love them.
Ha! Saved for my couples only.
Calming, friendly, cheerful.
Any that has a wedding in it.
Always show your partner respect.
I've wondered about this, and am truly not happy unless I am able to use all of my talents. Weddings give me a place to be organized, creative, guiding. And all for something sacred. Nothing can compare.
I love to spend time with my kids. At the end of the day, a wedding is the start to a new chapter in someone else's life. But my kids are my book.
