Questions and Answers
What 3 words describe your work? Unique, creative, personal.
Why should someone hire you? We plan the wedding that the clients want, not what our vision is. We do guide, but softly.
What are the common misconceptions about your services? The old notion of a wedding planner was that we were there to tell you what to do, and that is simply not the case. We are there to lead, help, guide and give advice, along with our creative design.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work? We have used movies, books, a piece of jewelry and many other things for our concept creations for the weddings we plan. Personally, I look to blogs, magazines (both wedding and interior design) and flea markets for inspiration.
What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding? Make sure that you trust your vendors because in the end, no matter how great your planner is, if you don't have professional honest vendors, there is not much a planner can do to fix it.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be? To stop rain, sleet, snow or wind!
What are 3 words that describe your personality? Honest, fun-loving, and genuine.
What's your favorite marriage advice? Never go to bed angry.
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead? I would most likely be an interior designer, as I simply love the search of bringing things together and making a cohesive and cozy environment.
What's your favorite way to wind down after a hard day? Snuggling up on the couch with my son, boyfriend and dog to watch a sporting event. Nothing is better than that for me.
