My approach to wedding photography is to focus on your story. The rawness of emotion. The gathering of friends and family that haven't seen each other in years. The excitement of starting a new family. Celebration—and the quiet moments that surround it. I am honored that people invite me to capture so many important moments in their lives. My wedding photography enables me the opportunity to explore new places, meet interesting people and create art from intimate moments, during one of the most important days of their life.
You're fun, you're intelligent and you want the best. Photography is important to you, and you want to hire a professional with vision and experience. I consider myself a photojournalist—I love capturing life as it unfolds. When photographing your wedding, I approach your day as a story—with a beginning, middle and end—but also stay open-minded for those beautiful unexpected moments. When we take your portraits, I am happy to give some direction to help with poses that will make you comfortable and look your best.
When a couple is authentically themselves. It doesn't matter how big or small, how casual or fancy, or whether there are many traditions or none at all. As long as the couple is being true to themselves, that is all that matters.
