Certified By The Guide Reviews

(What does this mean?)
These Reviews are from real brides who have used this vendor's services—pulled straight from their Certified by The Guide reference check. We only post reviews that we have collected, so we can feel confident that they are the real deal. Yes, we know. We're control freaks.

“Her sample of work is amazing and I love that she is a fabulous award-winning photojournalist that captures humanity…but I love even more that her wedding photos capture love and warmth in a ‘non-sappy’ manner. She gives great lighting and decor advice, and can make darker colder spaces look bright and warm.”

“I just love her incredible scope of pictures, the posed as well as candid shots and the great photojournalism style she has. I’m a huge fan of hers now. I barely needed to have a video of the wedding because she caught so many things. I look back at my album and it has every moment I remember and it just captures the energy and even some of the architecture. My husband doesn’t like to be photographed, but she got some great ones of him. She was very good at getting photos of everyone, even the shy people. She didn’t try to take over the event either, she worked through the wedding quietly and got everything. She just has gorgeous photos with an artistic style all it’s own.”

“Everyone at the wedding loved her too. She is very natural and blends well with wedding guests. She has a unique style and eye for lighting. She is primarily a photojournalist, so had a very unique take on wedding photography.”

“Darcy was very engaging and interested in helping us capture the day as we envisioned. She worked a very long day for us and kept a positive attitude throughout. Darcy has a very unique photo-journalism style, the pictures are very personal and captured our day beautifully. She was super friendly and professional; it was a joy to work with her.”

“My husband and I wanted our photographs for the wedding to be documentary style because we did not wish to take the time for a family portrait session. It was crucial that the photographer be able to capture the emotion of the ceremony without sacrificing the coverage of our family members and friends. Darcy did an amazing job. Without fail people have told me that our wedding photos are unbelievably beautiful, moving and artsy.”
