There are so many qualities that make this Brooklyn bridal salon extra-special. Top of our list is the palatial architecture and luxurious décor; the gracious staff’s warm welcome and knowledgeable service; and the well-chosen designer wedding dresses and gorgeous custom-created bridal gowns!

Monica’s has been a successful family business for 25 years. The store was launched by fashionistas Simona and her daughter Liliana, who named their fashion house for Liliana’s newborn daughter. Luckily, Monica inherited their love of design, and took her degree from New York’s Fashion Instutute of Technology. Today, the three generations of talented designers continue their dream of providing the ultimate bridal salon experience to every one of its valued customers.

The celebrated bridal boutique makes its home in a stunning 10,000-square-foot chandelier-clad showroom, designed by Monica’s father, a successful New York developer. The brides we spoke with were wowed by the shop’s “royal wedding style” and “castle décor that makes you feel like a princess.”

Equally impressive is the royal treatment the brides receive. We heard praise for the engaging staff that personalized the shopping experience, and Monica herself got kudos for “offering advice rather than just trying to sell a dress.” An industry professional who has worked with Monica’s for years gives them “an A+ for service.”

The exciting selection of international and national designer bridal gowns also gets raves. There’s such a range of styles! From popular collections, such as Casablanca and Pronovias, to the operatic gowns of St. Pucchi, to the cutting-edge couture of YSA Makino, Moncia’s has something to capture the imagination of every engaged gal. Brides are also treated to Monica Bridal’s exclusive private label, which showcases opulent ballgowns with sumptuous fabrics and detailing. You can even turn your wedding fantasy into reality and work directly with Monica to create your own unique wedding dress.

Monica’s is also known for gorgeous evening wear, and mothers of the occasion and wedding guests alike can browse collections by Mandalay, Jovani, Notte Marchesa, Tony Bowls and more. Shoes, undergarments, veils and oodles of wedding accessories are also on hand, so that if a bride wants to, she can choose her entire wedding ensemble in one appointment!

But we think you’ll be looking for excuses to re-visit this beautiful, welcoming wedding salon where, as one wedding pro put it, “Nothing is impossible.”
