Why We Like Them
TKleinfeld might just be the most famous bridal salon in the world, and for good reason: First off, the store itself is huge, with commodious dressing rooms, inviting viewing areas, mirrors galore, the better to see yourself in one of the glorious creations. Even so, the store employs 200 dedicated bridal specialists so that the entire process—from browsing to delivery—is as smooth as possible. The consultants are experienced and knowledgeable, trained to interpret a bride’s dress desires and guide her to that magic moment of…well, saying yes to the dress!
But with over 60 years of history, Kleinfeld has been a wedding tradition long before it became the subject of the hit TV series, Say Yes to the Dress; in fact, many brides (some journeying from a fair distance) consider a trip to Kleinfeld with her mother and BFF an important pre-wedding ritual. More often than not, they end up being seduced by the quality service and oodles of glamorous gowns on display.
The abundant wedding dress inventory includes dozens of top couture names, from Amsale to Ulla-Maija, along with a good selection of plus-size bridal gowns. Another attraction is the Kleinfeld Kollection, made up of exclusive lines such as Sophia Moncelli and Pnina Tornai, that convey a unique sense of style.
A bride will also find plenty of extras here, such as headpieces, accessories, expert alterations and even gown preservation. Their sister store, Kleinfeld Men, will keep the guys looking snappy, too.
Owners Ronnie and Mara are very hands-on with their iconic store, and have a clearly stated goal in mind at all times: “We want your experience in our store to be as memorable as your wedding day.” From what we’ve heard, they’re succeeding admirably.
