We’ve heard the sad tale before: You’d love to have a country club wedding, but there’s one tiny little problem—you don’t belong to a country club. Lucky for you, membership isn’t required at The Villages Golf and Country Club. Perched in the hills above southeastern San Jose, this facility has everything you’re looking for: a handsome Spanish Mission-style clubhouse; lovely banquet rooms; well-tended gardens, and a verdant, meticulously groomed golf course. You get all this, plus a variety of wedding packages, at a price that won’t make you dip into your honeymoon fund.
In the clubhouse, you’ll find three special event rooms that can be used separately or in combination. Though all three have a versatile cream-and-tan color scheme and frosted-glass-and-brass chandeliers, each one has its own distinct design elements: The Oak Room features a gleaming hardwood oak dance floor; the Sunset Room has a large window that takes advantage of the view of the Santa Clara Valley; and the elegant Fairway Room boasts panoramic golf course views. Adjacent to this trio of rooms is a foyer area with a grand piano. The Oak and Fairway Rooms are particularly lovely when used together, but no matter what configuration of these areas you choose, they’re all brimming with sophisticated country club ambiance.

EVENT/RECEPTION & MEETING CAPACITY: The clubhouse holds up to 250 seated or 600 standing guests. This space can be divided into smaller reception areas.
A $3,000 room rental deposit is required to reserve your date. The estimated event total is due 7 working days prior to the event. The food & beverage minimum for a Saturday evening event is $8,000. Meals range $45–75/person. Wine corkage is $15/bottle. Tax, alcohol and an 18% service charge are additional. One or more security officers are required (depending on guest count) at the rate of $100/officer.
