Towering palms, graceful willow trees, and lush grounds welcome you into the spacious Shrine Event Center. The grand ballroom is larger than most event facilities in the area, and it can take on any theme you have in mind.
Events often begin in the Lounge, where two built-in bars with mirrored backsplashes make serving cocktails both attractive and easy. Matching nearby counters can hold the appetizer or dessert display. The Lounge is also a fun retreat for after-dinner cordials.
The Lounge leads directly into the Lindbergh Ballroom, the centerpiece of the venue. Open, airy and contemporary, the ballroom features a dramatic vaulted ceiling with polished wooden beams. Rows of fabric swags overhead lend a soft, elegant look. At one end of the ballroom, an east-facing stage is perfect for your band or DJ.
One of the best things about the Shrine Event Center is its adaptability. The ballroom accommodates a wide range of events, from a corporate seminar to a beautiful wedding. For a sophisticated gala, deck the space out in white linen and crystal. If you’re planning something more informal, like a luau-style banquet, the room easily transforms into a Caribbean paradise with vibrant colors and tropical décor. Add tulle, flowers, or twinkle lights as the spirit moves you. Track lighting on dimmers allows you to adjust the mood throughout your party. There’s also a retractable screen for showing a photo or video montage, and even a disco ball in case you want to turn it up a notch when the dancing gets going. The on-site coordinator will work with you to design your event, and can recommend vendors to help you bring your ideas to life.
If you like, host both your ceremony and reception in the ballroom, where movable room dividers let you create separate areas if desired. Large conferences or banquets can combine adjacent breakout rooms with the ballroom, and seat up to 950 guests theater-style. The center’s professional sound system with exceptional speakers is another plus, especially for corporate events.
The Shrine Event Center is easily accessible by freeway I-580 and close to the Livermore Municipal Airport, local hotels (one within walking distance), shopping, restaurants and nightclubs—something you’ll appreciate if you’re inviting out-of-town guests. Plus, there are plenty of nearby wineries, hiking trails and other attractions to keep your family and friends happily occupied before and after your event.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The main ballroom accommodates 450 seated for dining and dancing. Adjoining side rooms each seat 50 guests.

A nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your event date. The rental fee, which includes a 5-hour event plus 2 hours for setup and 1 hour post-event for cleanup, ranges $1,100–4,000 depending on the date and number of guests attending the event. Overtime starts at $139/hour and may increase depending on the number of security guards required. A refundable $1,000-minimum security deposit is also required.
