Why We Like This Place

Two very good things come together at Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center at Indian Hills: a service-oriented venue and a scenic golf course that envelops the Inland Empire's often dry landscape like a luxuriant green stole.

Wedgewood's forte is its can-do attitude: They're happy to take care of everything for you—flowers, food, cake, photographer, and more. The center offers five all-inclusive packages designed for "value, service, and convenience," and each one can be customized. Wedgewood works with the best event professionals in the area, who will meet with you personally to help create a wedding that fits your style. However, if you prefer to hire your own vendors, you can bring in any that you like—except for caterers. All catering is done in-house, and the kitchen's seasoned chefs can handle almost any cuisine. If a certain dish is outside their repertoire, they still do their best to make sure it gets served: Recently an Eastern European wedding had a special recipe that only the bride's relatives knew how to prepare correctly, so the kitchen invited them to cook it themselves.

Wedgewood's convenient location is only a short drive from San Bernardino, Riverside and Ontario. Its two ballrooms, both with full-service bars, easily accommodate groups large and small. The spacious Sunset Room has picture-window views of the golf course, while the more intimate Scenic Room overlooks the course's ceremony site. Guests often gather in this ballroom to enjoy post-ceremony champagne and hors d'oeuvres, while the new bride and groom pose for photos just outside.

Ceremonies here take place on a flower-fringed lawn with a classic white gazebo, flanked on either side by a colonnade of majestic palms. However, it's the dramatic backdrop that really captures people's attention: Behind the gazebo the ground drops away steeply to the fairway below, which seems to blend into the tree-covered hills in the distance. There are several popular photo op locations, including the gazebo itself, but one of the sweetest has to be a leafy shade tree nearby that forms a cool canopy over the couple, with the vibrant green golf course in the background.

The bride's room comes with creamy white leather couches, mirrors and direct access to a nicely outfitted bathroom with showers. There's even a steamer should the bridal gown or bridesmaid dresses require a little last-minute wrinkle removal.

Couples love Indian Hills' country club feel—especially since this public golf course comes without country club prices. MEETING CAPACITY: Meeting spaces seat 200 guests.

Fees & Deposits

25% of the estimated event total is required to reserve your date. Another 25% is due 90 days prior to the event, and final payment along with the final guest count is required 10 days before the event. There are no rental fees as long as certain food and beverage minimums are met. Meals range $20–36/person. Wedding packages start at $39/person and include rental fee, bartenders, outside ceremony setup and cleanup. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional. Customized packages are also available.
