Why We Like This Place
A wise man once said that among life's greatest pleasures is building a store of wonderful memories you can look back on as the years unfold. Sierra Lakes Golf Club is a place where some of the best of those memories might be created.Picture a sunny day on a bright green lawn, your loved ones gathered on rows of dazzling white chairs. You're standing with your beau in a charming little gazebo, ready to exchange vows. Sparkling fountains splash yards away down a grassy slope, and behind you the bold granite peaks of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains form a soaring backdrop.
After you've said "I do," more memories will be made in the grand ballroom, an elegantly designed space that offers views through large picture windows and glass doors out to the golf course, gazebo, and the high summits beyond. The room's dark wood wainscoting and trim, combined with gold- and white-colored walls, give it a quietly sophisticated look. A beautiful adjunct to the ballroom is the patio, a semicircular terrace that works extremely well for pre- and post-ceremony socializing. Guests look out onto the expanse of the surrounding fairways, a panorama made all the prettier by Sierra Lakes' undulating, sometimes steep, terrain—real eye candy. A full-service bar is just steps away.
Sierra Lakes offers four customizable packages, and you can bring in any vendors you choose. However, you may want Sierra Lakes' culinary staff to provide the catering: They have a reputation for expertise in virtually every cuisine. Perhaps the icing on the cake are Event Coordinator Becky Elefsrud and F&B Manager Guillermo Villavicencio, who are noted for working closely with wedding planners every step of the way.
You can have your wedding any time of day, but most couples prefer late afternoon. It's not hard to see why: As the sun slips lower, the lighting is just what your photographer ordered and there are plenty of photo-friendly spots at Sierra Lakes, including the gazebo and the two fountains near it, the patio, and a rose garden with perpetually blooming flowers. And you can't beat the legendary sunset over the putting green.
There are other things brides like about this facility, such as their changing room, one of the biggest we've ever seen—there's space for all the bridesmaids to stand in front of the full-length mirror and admire each other. Sierra Lakes' convenient location is a plus, too: The venue is easily reached from three major freeways (Interstates 210, 10 and 15). And the clubhouse itself looks like an inviting destination. A profusion of lush tropical plants at the entrance make you think you're at a subtropical resort, while inside, shale floor tiles and dark wood furniture and trim create a very clubby feel. When you come to Sierra Lakes Golf Course, there's a delicious sense of having arrived.

Fees & Deposits
A $600–1,000 deposit is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 30 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $0–2,000 depending on the size and type of the event. Meals range $39–68/person. Tax, alcohol and an 18% service charge are additional.
