Why We Like This Place
One of the most exciting additions to the Orange County dining scene is Savannah Supper Club, just steps from Costa Mesa’s world-renowned Orange County Performing Arts Center and South Coast Plaza. The new restaurant is the work of David Wilhelm, a visionary restaurateur dubbed the “Wolfgang Puck of Orange County” by the revered Zagat dining guide.Step inside for a visually intriguing experience. After your eyes adjust to the dim glow of candles and decorative Art Nouveau lighting, you’ll find yourself surrounded by aged ochre-colored walls, vintage posters, and dark wood paneling. Explore further and you can’t help but be seduced by the sultry jazz lounge, enlivened by artist Clifford Bailey’s mural of jazz musicians. If you’re a couple with an urbane attitude, you’ll realize you’ve finally arrived at a venue whose high-concept ambiance is a perfect match for your epicurean tastes.
Depending on the size of your guest list, you can host a sophisticated bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or wedding reception in any of several private and semi-private spaces at Savannah. From the intimate Green Room—a private wine cellar with a screen for sharing memories—to the more open dining salons, both with fireplaces and deep red booths, numerous interior options are available, each offering a distinctive vibe. For a view of the culinary stage where contemporary American classics are prepared, consider the Grand Salon, an elegant dining room just off the bustling exhibition kitchen.
Wedding ceremonies are held in the Terrace Room, a spacious enclosed covered patio with a fireplace, plush lounge seating, decorative period lighting and a canopied area for a head table. Alternatively, say your vows in an outdoor space lined with pine trees, against the Zen-like backdrop of Isamu Noguchi’s California Scenario sculpture garden. An adjacent patio is ideal for tray-passed appetizers, as guests mingle prior to entering the restaurant.
Whether you select an individual area for your party or take over the entire 10,000-square-foot restaurant, you can choose from suggested menus with contemporary American favorites such as Lobster Bisque, Steak with Brandied Peppercorn Sauce, Rack of Lamb, Roast Duck and Braised Short Ribs. Or, work with Savannah’s special events manager to design a menu that reflects any style you desire.
On the off chance you and your groom haven’t had enough theater by the end of your festivities, you can always start married life off by attending a performance at the new Segerstrom Concert Hall across the way. Before the curtain rises, you’ll have reason to applaud the symphony of pleasures you and your guests have already enjoyed.

Fees & Deposits
10% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date. A portion is due 90 days prior to the event. The balance is due at the conclusion of the event. There are no rental fees. Meals range $45–125/person. Tax, alcohol and a 21% service charge are additional.
