Description
If the façade of the Radisson Hotel Chatsworth manages to look brand-new and historic at the same time, that’s because it’s legitimately both. Although the facility was completely renovated in 2001, it’s located in what was Chatsworth’s center of town in the 1870s and is designed to pay tribute to the history of the area. The only full-service hotel in the Northwest San Fernando Valley, it offers a beautiful courtyard, views of the Santa Susana Mountains, and the intimate feel of a quaint inn.
For outdoor gatherings and weddings, the courtyard is the most popular spot. Enclosed by the walls of the hotel, it’s a quiet, soothing haven, protected from wind and outside noise. A fountain bubbles in the center of this tiled patio, and the Mediterranean arches visible on all four stories of the hotel enhance the sensation of being in an Italian piazza. Ceremonies feel very intimate here, with the couple saying their vows on one side of the fountain, and their guests seated in a semi-circle on the other side. For larger groups, more chairs can be added on the adjacent lawn. During the day, the space has a garden quality thanks to a profusion of palm trees, flowers and other landscaping, while at night special lighting from the ground to the top of the fourth floor adds drama. The Venezia Room, which opens onto the courtyard through an all-glass wall, is convenient for hosting a wedding reception, corporate or private party. You can also use it for additional space if your main celebration is set up outdoors.
The Milano Room, right next to the Venezia, shares the same glass wall that faces the courtyard. It’s the smallest of the hotel’s event spaces, and the only one with a fireplace. A third option is the Roma Room, whose walls are cherrywood and adorned with mirrors. This room is especially lovely when decorated with candles or Christmas lights—they’re reflected by the mirrors and add a warm glow to the wood.
The Hot Tomato, the hotel’s restaurant, offers a completely different environment for seated receptions. Its sophisticated yet casual atmosphere features earthy colors and textures, panels of etched glass, pillars, tiled floors, French doors and a glass ceiling. The adjoining lounge has a large copper and marble bar that makes a great pre-function space for a cocktails or champagne.

Fees & Deposits
For weddings, deposits range $200–500 depending on the space rented. The event balance is due 72 hours prior to the event. Luncheons (3-course) start at $20/person, dinners at $25/person. Tax, alcohol and an 18% service charge are additional. There is a $4/person fee for Courtyard ceremonies. The restaurant’s food and beverage minimum starts at $2,500 for daytime events and $3,000 for evening events and includes a complimentary guestroom for the bride and groom. Wedding packages start at $34/person for lunch or $39/person for dinner. Customized packages are available.
Weekday business lunches start at $15/person; meeting packages are also available.
