Celebrate in a place that is like no other—aboard the Queen Mary. Permanently docked in Long Beach Harbor, this luxury ocean liner-turned-hotel/attraction offers the perfect venue for your wedding as well as breathtaking views.

The legendary Queen Mary set out on her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York City in 1936 and was considered the only way to travel for the world’s rich and famous. As soon as you step onto the ship, you get a sense of the glamour of that bygone era. She’s a treasure trove of Art Deco design, with event facilities guaranteed to wow your guests.

Seventeen recently renovated salons are available for your reception, and collectively feature a wealth of handcrafted touches including exquisite paneling, unique light fixtures, etched-glass doors, original murals and carved marble fireplaces. And while you and your guests are appreciating the splendid surroundings, the Queen Mary’s full-service catering staff will attend to every detail of your event.

The Queen Mary also provides both outdoor and indoor options for your ceremony. To take advantage of the sunshine or sunset, get married on the bow or stern, under the Gazebo or on the Veranda Deck. For a more traditional setting, the finely crafted Royal Wedding Chapel is a stunning choice.

When the festivities have ended and the moon has risen over the harbor, retire to one of the ship’s original first-class staterooms for a romantic and peaceful night. It’s no mystery why every year hundreds of couples have their wedding on this extraordinary landmark: the Queen Mary sets the stage for an unforgettable experience.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Royal Wedding Chapel holds 150 seated. The Sun Deck Gazebo holds 130 seated. The Verandah Deck holds 350 seated.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The ship has 17 rooms that can accommodate 20–1,500 seated guests. With a tent in the Queen Mary Park, receptions of up to 2,000 guests may be accommodated. (a minimum of 800 is required for the tent).

Fees & Deposits

For weddings, a nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit is required to hold your date. The estimated event total is payable 30 days prior to the event date. Reception packages start at $54/person (ceremony cost is additional). Tax, beverages and a 22% service charge are additional.
