Description
You might expect Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler to sweep down the aisle at this beautiful event site tucked into the forested foothills of the Angeles Crest Mountains. And while you may not be in the antebellum south, this unique venue located inside the M&M Peach Orchard with its graceful grounds has the pastoral feel of a bygone place and time. A leisurely drive from L.A., it seems worlds away.
Three Points Road delivers you to the ranch, where a private drive lined with peach trees leads to the ample parking area. A lovely white lattice archway marks the entrance to the well-manicured east lawn, a large grassy expanse perfect for a wedding ceremony or corporate event. Couples usually exchange vows in the gazebo at the north end of the lawn. Framed by weeping willows, it’s bordered by roses that add a natural touch of fragrance and romance—a free floral bonus that’s hard to beat. Behind the gazebo, the property’s sparkling serenity pond and a spectacular view of the Tehachapi Mountains create a breathtaking backdrop for any celebration.
The grounds at Peach Tree Islands are made for strolling. A short walk takes you to the bridal cottage. Two bedrooms, a make-up niche and plenty of space to lounge provide pre-event privacy and a quiet hideaway for catching one’s breath when the festivities get going.
But this is no place to linger. Follow the little bridge that crosses the pond to the location’s real gem—a pretty island set like a solitaire in the center of the crystal clear waters. Another exquisite environment for tying the knot, it’s also a great spot for photos, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and other post-ceremony or pre-dinner activities. (And if you want to simplify your life, take advantage of the complete DJ, photo, catering and cake packages they offer.)
After the cocktail chatter has wound down, guests leave the island and proceed to the wide west lawn for al fresco dining by the water’s edge beneath a canopy of broad-leafed mulberry trees. In this beautiful plein air setting, tables can be arranged in any configuration. Here, another gazebo picturesquely situated to showcase the cake cutting is an elegant focal point, and a small waterfall supplies a musical ripple of relaxing sound.
By nightfall the island is atwinkle in lights, their reflection mirrored on the pond’s shimmering surface. A dance floor next to the water beckons, and your guests will naturally flow back across the bridge, attracted by the music and lights. An adjacent stage is large enough to accommodate a small orchestra, a big band, guest seating or more dancers, and whether the mood is Bayou night or Gatsby-like extravaganza, everyone will celebrate the night away under moonlight, starlight, lamplight and the gentle sway of the willows.

Fees & Deposits
A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 30 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $3,500–5,000. Liability insurance, security and a ceremony setup fee may apply, call for details.
Note tents are available in case of inclement weather.
