Mission Ranch

Description

Mission Ranch has been a Carmel tradition for over 50 years. Once a working dairy, the Ranch is a delightful and rustic retreat, extensively renovated in 1992. Situated on the grounds are a turn-of-the-century farmhouse, a bunkhouse, hotel rooms and triplex cottages with spectacular views of Carmel Beach and rugged Point Lobos. These historic buildings, surrounded by 100-year-old cypress trees and natural landscaping, offer the kind of quiet and peaceful ambiance not found in nearby bustling downtown Carmel.

Outdoor celebrations and ceremonies are often held on the brick patio of the Patio Barn or on the 4-plex lawn, adjoining the meadow. The Patio Barn is known for its friendly bar and great dance floor, and it features a stage for live music. It has a wall of full-length glass doors opening onto a brick patio with a restful view of meadows and wetlands rolling down to Carmel River Beach. The Large Barn is also used as an adjunct to the Patio Barn for larger parties with its lofty three-story-high ceiling. The Catering Department prides itself on the uncompromising quality of its food and creative menus for any occasion. If you’re looking for a place to hold a relaxed event in a classic country setting, this is it.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Patio accommodates 96 seated guests, the 4-Plex Lawn accommodates 160 seated guests.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Patio Barn can accommodate up to 96 seated guests and the Large Barn up to 160 seated guests. There is a 50-guest minimum for rental of the barns.

MEETING CAPACITY: There are 3 different facilities which hold 12–160 seated guests.

Fees & Deposits

The rental fee is required to reserve a date. A deposit in the amount of 60% of all estimated services is due 60 days prior to the event, with the remaining estimated balance due 10 days prior. The rental fee is $3,500–4,500 on Saturday and $2,500–3,500 on Friday or Sunday. The Barn rental fees cover a 5-hour maximum period. Entrée prices start at $46/person. Alcohol, tax, and an 18% gratuity are additional. Call for meeting room rates.
