Description
Middle Ranch’s smooth, civilized lawns and attractive buildings come as a pleasant surprise, located as they are in the midst of the dry Wild West landscape of Tujunga Canyon. With sagebrush-covered hills rising dramatically behind it, this exclusive equestrian country club (where the elite come to ride) is an appealing option for those who want to hold their event in a cultivated, yet distinctly Californian, setting.
The Lodge, Middle Ranch’s main function area, is set behind a broad lawn at the end of a sweeping drive. With its red tile roof, the building has a Spanish flavor, harmonizing nicely with its surroundings. Inside, the single large room has a lofty open-beamed ceiling, an abundance of warm natural wood, terracotta-tile floors and a handsome, two-sided fieldstone fireplace. Leather couches and chairs complete the decor. French doors open onto a large patio, partly shaded by fragrant eucalyptus trees. A few steps uphill there’s a pool with a large deck backed by an untamed hillside that seems to slope down to the water. The contrast between that wild, inhospitable mountainside and the effortless elegance of this well-appointed space makes Middle Ranch a special place to celebrate.

Fees & Deposits
For weddings, a $1,500 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your date. 50% of the total estimated event cost is due 180 days prior to the event; the balance is payable 14 days prior. Wedding meals start at $92/person and include use of the facility, alcohol, tax and service charge.
Discounted prices for midweek business functions or meetings are available; fees vary depending on services required.
