Why We Like This Place
"Wall of windows." Keep that phrase in mind when you come to this low-key country club to check out the venue. Why? Because the bank of big, tall windows in the main dining room frames a superb golf course view, and will probably be what makes you ask, "Where do I sign?"You'll be impressed even before you reach the windows. The club's stucco-clad main building has a beautiful entrance: A circular drive is rimmed by pepper trees, Canary Island palms and flowering eucalyptus, and centered by a burbling three-tiered fountain. As you step out of your car beneath the grand columned portico, you immediately notice the imposing pair of front doors capped with a classic lunette window.
The foyer, which many wedding parties use for their dance floor and DJ stand, leads directly to the main dining room and those spectacular windows. On the other side of the glass, soaring ornamental palms flank fairways and winding paths, and Menifee's two manmade lakes glint blue. In the distance are high desert hills, including a dramatic peak of boulders that looks like a giant's rock pile.
The view, however, is not this room's only asset. Painted in creamy earth colors, it also features a large fireplace; a lodge-like ceiling (the rafters are made of rounded timbers with the bark still on); and an eye-catching chandelier shaped like a great metallic hoop skirt. Half-walls help separate the room visually from the foyer. The combination of outdoor panorama and interior features are such strong points, that many brides decide the room needs little decoration.
Right next door is a bar that belongs exclusively to wedding parties after 6pm (The club also can provide a standalone bar.) Folding doors to one side open to a smaller banquet room that can be used independently or in conjunction with the main dining room. All three of these rooms have access to a terrace, shaded in the afternoon, that overlooks the excellent golf course vista.
For smaller weddings, the downstairs grill room and its adjoining terrace are available. It is possible for two weddings to be going on here at the same time, but the layout of the clubhouse ensures that both parties will enjoy their privacy.
The club also hosts rehearsal dinners, bachelorette parties and post-ceremony brunches. Menifee's obliging kitchen can accommodate almost any budget, and will customize menus. Large wood-paneled changing rooms for both brides and grooms provide abundant sinks, storage and mirrors.

Fees & Deposits
A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $500–1,500 depending on the day of the event and the space rented. Meals range $45–120/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional.
Availability
Year-round, daily; weekdays 6am–midnight and weekends 10am–3:00pm or 6pm–11:00pm. Extra hours available until 1am.
