Why We Like This Place

With its graceful architecture, colorful landscaping and attentive staff, Meadowlark feels more like a country club than a golf facility. Perhaps that’s why this place is so successful at being both a golfer’s haven and a lovely venue for special events.

After you walk through the beautiful double doors of this two-story, Spanish-style clubhouse, ascend the sweeping staircase to the second floor where all special events and business functions are held. The spacious foyer at the top of the stairs is an ideal place for guests to drop off gifts, sign the guest book and mingle before entering the Terrace Ballroom for the reception. This 3,000-square-foot room can be decorated to your specifications, and features floor-to-ceiling windows, a large dance floor, raised head table and a striking beamed ceiling with frosted glass-and-metal fixtures.

Four sets of double doors provide the Terrace Ballroom with plenty of natural light and views of the golf course and mountains beyond. They also allow access to the Terrace Patio and a wide wraparound balcony that not only extend the ballroom’s space, but are perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Outfitted with a bridal arch, white runner and white padded folding chairs, it’s a charming spot for exchanging vows. (An alternative and larger area for tying the knot is on the 10th tee, notable for its lush greenery and large shade trees.)

The versatile Terrace Patio is wonderful for serving cocktails, too. When set up with tables and white market umbrellas, you and your guests can sip drinks in the shade and feel the breezes blowing off the nearby ocean. As evening falls, you can enjoy a classic California sunset, whether you’re seated outside on the Terrace or in the ballroom.

Photo options include the park-like setting of one of the golf course greens, or the curving, broad staircase in the clubhouse lobby. It makes an elegant backdrop, especially when decorated with flowers, tulle, twinkle lights and/or greenery.

As pleasing as its event spaces are, what really distinguishes Meadowlark is the service. They offer affordable, inclusive packages that provide just about everything you need—even your wedding cake! Their catering professionals will take care of you from the beginning of the planning process to the last minute of your event. For the stressed-out bride, the accommodating team at Meadowlark is just what the doctor ordered. Thank-you letters are filled with comments like “You made it so personal…You gave me a sense of comfort and confidence…You really did take care of me!”

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Terrace Patio holds up to 150 seated guests, the 10th Tee holds 200 seated.
EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The Terrace Ballroom holds up to 240 seated; with the patio, an additional 60 seated guests.
MEETING CAPACITY: The Terrace Balloom can accommodate up to 250 guests seated theater- or banquet-style, or 150–175 seated conference-style, in a U-shaped setup.

Fees & Deposits

A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the estimated event total. 50% is due 6 months prior, and 100% of the final estimated balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Wedding packages range $45–100/person depending on the package or menu selected. Packages include hors d’oeuvres, champagne and cider toast, a 2-course meal or buffet, wedding cake and other services. Alcohol, tax and a 21% service charge are extra. Meadowlark can customize any menu; call for specific à la carte pricing. The wedding ceremony site fee is $1,500 for the Terrace Patio and $2,000 for the 10th Tee. This fee includes a white aisle runner, white padded folding chairs and a white or rustic wrought-iron arch.

Year-round, daily, 6am–midnight. For wedding receptions, Saturdays 11am–4pm or 6pm–11pm; a 1-hour ceremony is in addition to the 5-hour block.
