Description
Looking at Meadowlark’s clubhouse, you might not know it was a golfing facility. After all, the two-story, Spanish-style building feels more like a country club, with its graceful ground-floor arcade, generous balconies, and colorful landscaping. But the golf carts parked neatly outside, and the tree-studded fairways in the background make it clear that Meadowlark is both a golfer’s haven and a lovely venue for special events.
Walk inside and ascend the sweeping staircase on your right to the second floor, where all special events and business functions are held (the first floor of the clubhouse is reserved for the golfing public). At the top of the stairs is a spacious foyer, where your guests can drop off gifts, sign the guest book and mingle before entering the Terrace Room, the main banquet area. Here you’ll find a parquet dance floor, raised head table, and a beamed ceiling with frosted glass-and-metal fixtures. Recently refurbished, this room can accommodate virtually any color scheme you have in mind.
Five sets of double doors provide the Terrace Room with lots of natural light, golf course views and access to the Veranda, a wide wraparound balcony. Outfitted with a bridal arch, white runner and white folding chairs, the Veranda is a charming spot for exchanging vows on a sunny day. If you like, request that tables with white market umbrellas be set up here, so you can sip cocktails in the shade and feel the breezes blowing off the nearby ocean. As evening falls, it’s also the place of choice for enjoying a classic California sunset. Just steps away from the Veranda, one of the golf course greens provides a park-like setting for photos; indoors, the staircase offers another photo backdrop, decorated with flowers, tulle, twinkle lights and greenery.
Now, some of you may be concerned that since you’re at a golf club, a wayward golfer might inadvertently traipse through your event. Not to worry. All the event facilities are completely separated from golf activities—they even place a sign at the base of the staircase letting people know that there’s a private party upstairs. And they don’t book multiple events at the same time, so you won’t have to compete for space with another group.
What really distinguishes Meadowlark, though, is the service. They offer affordable packages that include just about everything and their catering professionals will take care of you from the beginning of the planning process to the last minute of your event. For the stressed-out bride, the catering team at Meadowlark is just what the doctor ordered. Thank-you letters are filled with comments like, "You made it so personal…You gave me a sense of comfort and confidence…You really did take care of me!" And after they’ve given you the royal treatment, you may enjoy yourself so much, you’ll want to come back again—maybe even for a round of golf!

Fees & Deposits
A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the estimated event total. 50% is due six months prior, and 100% of the final estimated balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Wedding packages range $42–98/person depending on the package or menu selected. Packages include hors d’oeuvres, champagne and cider toast, a 2-course meal or buffet, wedding cake and other services. Alcohol, tax and a 19% service charge are extra. Meadowlark can customize any menu; call for specific à la carte pricing. The wedding ceremony site fee is $1,500.

Availability
Year-round, daily, 6am–1am. For wedding receptions, Saturdays 11am–4pm or 6pm–11pm; a 1-hour ceremony is in addition to the 5-hour block.
