Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village

Description

Poised among the rolling hills and arroyos of the Conejo Valley, this much-anticipated new offering from one of the world’s premier hoteliers surpasses expectations. While still honoring tradition, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village places itself squarely in the now, with a diverse group of indoor and outdoor event spaces and an opulent spa. Their cutting-edge approach to healthy lifestyles combines the latest technology and Western sensibilties with traditional Eastern methods, delivered up in an ultra-personalized format. The hotel takes a similar holistic approach to hospitality, and imbues your entire Four Seasons experience with exceptional amenities, ambiance and beauty.

The moment you cross the threshold, you’re embraced by the trappings of affluence. The lobby is clad in gleaming marble, mahogany and the plushest of furnishings, while extravagant light fixtures and a mural of lavender-blossomed jacaranda boughs adorn the ceiling. A walk through Four Seasons Hotel is like the opening of a rare painted fan, with each area offering its own artistic rendering of pure luxury. The palatial décor is spiced with global and contemporary flavors. A centuries-old red-lacquered curio cabinet looks like it might have traveled from China on one of Marco Polo’s ships. In a 2,000-gallon aquarium, brilliant blue and purple fish flash across a watery scene. Throughout, everything is arranged with ineffable grace and glamour—just as it will be during your special event.

Weddings unfold on the Garden Lawn against a backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains. Guests witness the vows from a crisp rectangle of manicured grass, flanked by a white trellis on one side and a covered breezeway on the other. At the head of the lawn, a gazebo with Romanesque columns crowned by a filigree iron cupola showcases the couple. Some brides have lounge furniture arranged on the lawn during the reception, then invite guests to sip after-dinner cordials beneath a star-filled sky.

Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails are served just steps away on the spacious Balcony, which overlooks a lushly landscaped courtyard and magnificent waterfall. Glass doors open into the handsome Prefunction area, setting the stage for one of the most stunning ballrooms we’ve ever seen: imported gold silk wall panels trimmed in mahogany and gold-leaf accents are set aglow by no less than 21 crystal chandeliers. These custom-made masterpieces shimmer like lacy snowflakes overhead, and can even be programmed to dazzle in the color of your choice!

Another outdoor event option is an Asian-themed garden with a Chinese poet’s pagoda and boulders imported from the River Kwai in Thailand. Or hold your cocktail hour in the sleek, cultural milieu of the atrium Art Gallery. The meditation garden, whose meandering paths are abloom with roses, is a picturesque setting for an intimate open-air gathering.

Not to be missed are the decadent pleasures of the 40,000-square-foot world-class spa, the perfect place to relax, refresh and glamorize—or to share some pampering with your gal pals, perhaps with a party in a luxury spa suite. (Trend alert: real gentlemen do spas too…but for a dose of macho, the hotel also has a bar with pool tables and plasma TVs!)

Completing your recipe for tranquility is the hotel’s award-winning haute cuisine (yes, they do kosher!) and discreetly attentive service. When you host your festivities at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, you get the peace of mind that comes from splurging on the very best.
