Campbell Hall and Garden

Description

A well-preserved vintage structure hidden in the hills of Sausalito, Campbell Hall is designed to blend into its woodsy residential neighborhood. Although it’s a popular meeting space for community functions, it looks so much like the neighboring brown shingle homes that you might not even notice it—but that would be a shame, since you’d be missing a lovely spot for weddings and receptions.

Most events are held in the Main Reception Room on the top floor, a large wood-paneled space with gleaming hardwood floors. Multiple windows and French doors on each side let in lots of sunlight, and the high wood-beamed ceiling creates a lofty, open feeling. A raised hardwood stage provides plenty of space for either a head table or musicians, and the adjoining garden-view balcony terrace is a terrific spot for pre-dinner socializing.

On the floor beneath the Main Reception Room is the Garden Room, a cozy space with a white wood-beam ceiling, enormous stone fireplace and overstuffed floral-print furnishings. The Garden Room can be used for an intimate rehearsal dinner, as a bride’s dressing room, or as an alternate reception site. It opens to a freeform patio nestled in a lush forest-like grove, with a partial bay view and blissful ambiance. Though Campbell Hall is located in the "banana belt," an area of Sausalito that receives daily sunshine, the patio garden is restful and cool even in summer. Pretty and unpretentious, Campbell Hall is a relaxed Sausalito wedding spot you shouldn’t overlook.

Christ Church, which is associated with Campbell Hall and Garden, is also available for wedding services and is rented and priced separately.
