Description
When we first visited Aioli Restaurant and Tapas Bar we were enraptured by the menu and milieu of this delightful venue. We couldn’t wait to sample some of the namesake aioli—a Mediterranean spread of garlic, olive oil and egg yolk—slathered on hunks of sweet-smelling bread, fresh from the ovens of Aioli’s next-door bakery. Like many first-time patrons and food critics, we became instant fans.Since its auspicious debut in 1995, Aioli has not only garnered rave reviews, but a host of awards from national culinary magazines, newspapers and industry associations who appreciate the restaurant’s exciting California-Mediterranean inspired fare, extensive wine list and European ambiance. Situated in Torrance’s revamped “Old Town,” Aioli’s sun-washed, muted pink façade of columns and arched windows calls to mind the breezy architecture of Majorca or Malaga. You can dine al fresco on Aioli’s patio—the Plaza del Prado—surrounded by tropical plants and shaded by canvas umbrellas.
Exquisite crushed-glass-and-wrought-iron doors open into Aioli’s stunning dining room. An artist’s hand is obviously at work here—pale yellow walls deliver a soft luminescence when lit, and intricately patterned wrought-iron partitions curve around the dining area, serving as aesthetic room dividers. Overhead a giant bas-relief gold sunburst dazzles the eye. Adjoining the dining room is the Wine Room, whose award-winning architectural design showcases some 800 vintages, and is complemented by ambient lighting and rich cherry oak paneling. It’s a sophisticated, intimate setting for rehearsal dinners or cocktail gatherings.
Follow the sound of laughter and tinkling glasses and you’ll encounter Aioli’s buoyant Tapas Bar, the perfect place for you and your guests to indulge in some delectable Spanish-style hors d’oeuvres at the polished marble bar. Brightening the walls are three-dimensional murals featuring revelers clearly in the thrall of a party—they seem to be enjoying the atmosphere as much as you are!
Aioli offers yet another area for events—their private banquet room. Sharing the same décor as the restaurant, and with large picture windows overlooking the Plaza del Prado, this room can comfortably seat a crowd.
Working with Aioli’s experienced banquet staff, you’ll create your event menu from a wide variety of pastas, salads, pizzas, and grilled entrées including seafood dishes and a “Chop House”-style steak menu. Of course, cocktail receptions are absolutely fabulous, featuring a selection of Aioli’s exciting tapas. To put a sweet finish on the festivities, serve your guests decadent European desserts prepared fresh daily by their award-winning pastry chef.
With its friendly staff, scintillating cuisine and eclectic décor, any event, large or small, is bound to make a splash at Aioli. Come in and savor the tapas, sip a glass of Chilean wine, and smother some bread with that magical aioli. We wager you’ll be hooked, just like we were.

Fees & Deposits
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your date. A portion of the food and beverage total is required 90 days prior to the event and the balance is due at the time of the event. Rental fees range $250–2,000 depending on the space rented. Meals range $30–70/person. Tax, alcohol and an 18% service charge are additional.
