Why We Like This Place
This historical building was completed in 1926 to honor the great surgeon, Dr. John B. Murphy. It is now regarded as one of the most well-renowned architectural masterpieces in Chicago. The Murphy Auditorium underwent a restoration in 2006, when it was opened to the public for private event rentals. The French Renaissance style of this building is reminiscent of the Chapelle de Notre-Dame de Consolation in Paris, both in its interior and exterior. It’s also very suitable for large groups: Up to 520 chairs can be provided for your event for no extra charge.
