Why We Like This Place
Opened in 1963 by Socialite Nancy Goldberg, Chicago’s version of Maxim’s quickly became a place to see and be seen. This replica of the famous restaurant in Paris features art nouveau scrollwork, plush red banquettes, inlaid brass, stained glass, and rich mahogany paneling, as well as a graceful spiral staircase—perfect for a dramatic bridal entrance. Private dining rooms, a bar and a room for dancing are available for all types of events. There are even two pianos on site to provide live music.
